Destination St. John’s is a private sector company operating under the direction of a Board of Directors on behalf of its partners. It is first and foremost a sales and marketing organization, selling members’ products, services and experiences to the world. It currently targets major meetings, conventions and incentive travel (MC&IT); sport and cultural events, leisure travel and group tours.

Sport Newfoundland and Labrador is a volunteer organization that represents 53 provincial sport organizations committed to the promotion and advancement of amateur sport and physical activity throughout the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
